Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated August 2025.

L S Embers is committed to ensuring that every reader, regardless of ability, can experience the site fully and joyfully.

What does Accessibility even mean?

Accessibility means creating a space online where everyone can navigate, read, and enjoy the content with the same ease, no matter how they connect with the web. It’s about designing a site that works smoothly with different devices, preferences, and assistive technologies like screen readers or keyboard navigation, so the experience feels open and welcoming to all.

Accessibility Standards
This site is designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA in mind. Where relevant, we also strive to meet the Quebec provincial standard (SGQRI-008), which aligns with WCAG 2.0 AA and includes provisions for accessible media formats.

Assistive Technology Support
The site works with common assistive technologies—like screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and magnification tools. I’ve optimized text clarity, contrast, headings, and navigation to help create a smooth, inclusive experience.

Media and Alternatives
Should the site include multimedia (audio, video), I will provide accessible alternatives such as captions, transcripts, or sign language where possible.

Your Feedback Matters
